Blues Brothers Band December 31, 1978 Winterland, San Francisco, CA Source: FM > Cassette (unknown gen) > Betamax PCM 1st Transfer: Denon DRM3>Sony PCM-F1>Sony SL360 Betamax (circa 1988-89) 2nd Transfer: Chris HuronŐs Sony SL-HF870D>Sony PCM701>Grace V3(24bit48kHz)>Roland R4 on 11/21/2020 Edited & Mastered using ProTools 2019.12.0 on 11/21/2020 Notes; A friend of mine named Rudy owned this tape; I used to purchase my medicinal cannabis from Rudy, before it was medicinal, or at least before the professional medical community categorized it as such. I somewhat remember him saying he made this off the radio but I donŐt think Rudy had cassette capability in 1978 and it sounds as though there is a generation or two on this recording...(my educated opinion 31 years later). This mix originated from a KSAN broadcast as identified by the station ID between tracks 8 & 9. I originally transferred RudyŐs cassette tape using my Denon DRM3>PCMF1>SL360(Betamax) digitizing platform (circa 1988-89). This transfer originated from one side of a cassette tape as determined by the length of the program material and that the original signal cut abruptly similar to tape running out while recording; An acceptable fade was added to adjust the abrupt ending on the original tape.
